This page describes the basic features supported on SIP phones connected to the UCX based on our open SIP Standards implementation.
E-MetroTel is not responsible for maintaining interoperability with those phones should the manufacturers or developers modify the behavior of their SIP implementation.
BLF
BLF keys can be used to monitor the extension and/or as a speed dial key for the monitored extension.
Example below shows a typical BLF programming on the SIP phone.
Call Park
The Call Park key can be configured to dial the main Parking Lot Extension (e.g. 700), the parking lot position will be announced when a call is parked.
The Call Park key can also be configured to the Parking Lot Position (e.g. 710). The key can be used to monitor the parking lot position, and also to Park and Retrieve a call for that specific position.

Call Pickup
There are 2 types of call pickup: Group Pickup and Directed Pickup.
Vendors that support this will provide a means to configure these features. The required codes are:
- Group Pickup: *8
- Directed Pickup: **

Star Code Features
Additional features are supported via our system wide star codes. Just program the respective codes in the line key.
