Configuring PSTN SIP Trunks on Panasonic System

The procedure for configuring Panasonic KX-NS settings is described on this page.

E-MetroTel PSTN SIP Trunk Account

This guide is based on the following sample SIP account details:

  • SIP SERVER:  sip-us.emetrotel.com
  • VOIP Username : 2110000…
  • VOIP Password : 6Dx4………
  • Account DID:  1347812222
  • Number of Channels: 2 channels

You must obtain your own E-MetroTel SIP Trunk Configuration Details.

Add V-SIPGW16 card

  1. Check to be sure SIP Client Port Number at Shelf Property for V-SIPGW is 5060.PanasonicEMT_PSTN_SIP_Trunk_1.png
  2. Go to Port Property of the card and enter the SIP account – add basic channel.

    Register Tab:

  3. Set up Calling Party  to “PBX-CLIP“Calling Party Tab:

  4. Add  second channel –  add channel for the slot where has been  set up the Basic channel

  5. Change both ports to “Inservice
    PanasonicEMT_PSTN_SIP_Trunk_8.png 
  6. Select Trunk Group number for these two channels
    PanasonicEMT_PSTN_SIP_Trunk_9.png 
  7. Change COS of these Trunk group to “1“

  8. Write DID number to DDI/DID Table for extension that will use it (inbound)

  9. Write CLIP  for the extension (outbound)

  10. Modify dialing plan
