    • Navigate to Reports / Extension Summary.
    • Click the Download button to export the CSV file (the filename will be ExtensionsOverview-yyyymmmdd.hrmmss.csv).
    • Open the file and sort by Firmware Type.
      • iOS apps will appear as 20102AM.
      • Android apps will appear as 20102IM.

  3. Download the full UCX extension list
    • Navigate to PBX / PBX Configuration / Batch Configuration / Batch of Extensions
    • Export the current UCX extension list CSV to prepare for editing (the filename will be extensions.csv)

On the Partner Portal

The steps you take on the Partner Portal can depend on the number of extensions that you need to generate Device IDs for. If you have a small number, it may be easiest to enter the information using the Add User button. However, if you have a significant number of extensions, then you may wish to use the bulk upload method.

Add User method
  1. Navigate to the Provisioning /Infinity 3065 page on the Partner Portal.
  2. Create a unique Device ID for each extension identified with Firmware Types 20102IM (Android) or 20102AM (iOS). Ensure to include the user extension and email when creating the Device ID.  This will allow an automated email to be sent directly to end users containing their Device ID.
    • Click on the Add User button to begin generating the Device IDs
    • Enter the information in the fields and check the InfinityOne checkbox to be able to use messaging on the Infinity 3065.
  3. Download the Device ID list
    • Filter the list of Device IDs for the UCX serial number you are planning to migrate.
    • Export the full Device ID csv file from the Partner Portal and keep it for mapping against UCX extensions later (this file will have the name Infinity 3065 Provisioning.csv).
Bulk Upload method
  1. Create a csv file with the following header titles in the first row:

Serial Number, E-Mail,Mobile, S1 IP, S1 Port, S1 Retry Number, S2 IP, S2 Port, S2 Retry Number, Extension, First Name, Last Name, Allow Multiple Profile, Allow Changes to Default Profile, SMS DID 1, SMS DID 2, InfinityOne URL

  2. For each user identified with 20102IM and 20102AM in the Extensions Overview csv file from above, enter the UCX serial number, the user email, extension, First Name, Last Name, and the InfinityOne url (including the “https://” at the beginning and the “:port number” at the end – eg. https://siteurl:21326).If you are using a premise system, enter the S1/S2 Hostnames or IP addresses along with any non standard S1/S2 port numbers.
  3. Save the file in csv format.
  4. Navigate to the Provisioning /Infinity 3065 page on the Partner Portal
  5. Click the Bulk Upload button.
  6. When successfully uploaded, emails will be sent to each affected user with the Device ID and app download information.
  7. Exit the Bulk Upload page.

On your computer – Extension Preparation

  1. Edit the UCX extension csv file (extensions.csv)
    • Replace the MAC Address field for each InfinityOne extension with the corresponding Device ID from the Device ID download file (Infinity 3065 Provisioning.csv).
    • Change the Device Type from Infinity to 3065.
  2. Save the modified csv file (eg. update_extensions.csv)

UCX Update

  1. Upload the modified extension csv (eg. update_extensions.csv) to UCX.
    • At this point, InfinityOne mobile apps will no longer connect for phone or full collaboration.
    • Messaging will remain available.
  2. Start the UCX update to load InfinityOne Release 6.0.
    • Old InfinityOne apps will no longer register.

Users may now activate full 3065 functionality.

Post-Upgrade

  1. Verify each user’s 3065 app auto-connects with their phone number.
  2. Confirm any programmable keys previously configured in InfinityOne are preserved.
  3. Validate voice, messaging, and channels in the 3065 app.
  4. Instruct users to delete the old InfinityOne mobile app from their devices.

Completion Criteria:

  1. All users are active on Infinity 3065 for both voice and messaging.
  2. Old InfinityOne mobile apps are removed.
  3. UCX is successfully running InfinityOne Release 6.0.
