The Infinity 3065 softphone is a standalone application designed to run on Windows (10 and 11), Mac OSX (10.15 or higher), iOS (13.0 or higher), and Android (7.0 or higher) platforms. Once beta trials are complete on each of these operating systems, they will be downloadable from the Microsoft Store (Windows), Apple App Store (OSX and iOS), and Google Play Store. However, during Beta trials, other means of accessing the software may be required. These will be updated in this document as additional functionality is available.
The Infinity 3065 and the InfinityOne Softphone both rely on IP-based communication over Ethernet (Windows and MacOS only), or an 802.11 or cellphone wireless network. However, the reliability and voice quality of the call is totally dependent on the network it is connected to. Therefore, it is expected that the device running the application is connected to a relatively strong wireless signal with adequate bandwidth, low latency, and low packet loss as described here when connecting the UCX and to the E-MetroTel provisioning server using the port information provided in the E-MetroTel documentation.
The Infinity 3065 Android app is designed to function on a wide range of Android devices. However, due to variations in hardware, software customizations, and Android implementations by different manufacturers, certain features may not work as intended on all devices. Compatibility issues may arise depending on factors such as the device model, Android version, or custom user interface, security enhancements, and maintenance update cycles.

The Administrator must first Create the Unique Device ID for each user before the user can proceed with the installation steps on this page. It is desirable that each Device ID be preconfigured as the MAC Address of that user's extension on the UCX XSTIM Properties settings on the UCX before the user completes the setup on their device.
