Overview
E-MetroTel has introduced a new E1/T1 Gateway card to replace the Galaxy PRI card, bringing consistency to the user interface and operation across all the gateway cards.
The Galaxy E1/T1 card can be installed in any of the 11 slots within a Galaxy Expand chassis or either of the two Galaxy Express slots. A single chassis can support multiple E1/T1 cards.
Installation
For detailed steps to install the card, see E1/T1 Card – Installation and Access.
Activation
After installation, you can access the card’s management GUI but the card is not functional for making or receiving calls until it has been activated.
For steps to activate the card, see E1/T1 Card – Activation.
