Wi-Fi
The 5010W phone supports network connection via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi option is available only when the network cable is unplugged.
When Wi-Fi is enabled , the Wi-Fi icon is displayed at the top of the LCD display screen.
When Wi-Fi is connected, the icon turns blue .
There are 2 ways to connect the phone to Wi-Fi: PROVISION mode and MANUAL mode.
1. PROVISION mode
You can configure Wi-Fi provision mode using 3 different interfaces:
- Cloud Provisioning Tool
- Web Interface
- Phone Interface
1.1 USING THE CLOUD PROVISIONING TOOL
- Register the phone to the customer and configure the parameters in the Cloud Provisioning Tool with the following data:
- Wifi Mode = Provision
- Wifi Active = Yes
- Wifi Security Mode = None / WEP / WPA PSK / WPA2 PSK
- Wifi SSID
- Wifi Password
- Power up the phone and connect the network cable to access internet.
- The phone will retrieve the configuration file from the public server: repo.uc-x.org/infinity.cfg
- Power down the phone and ship phone to the customer site.
- At the customer site, power up the phone using power adapter only (do not connect network cable).
- Phone will connect to the customer’s Wi-Fi network as configured.
1.2 USING WEB INTERFACE
- Power up the phone and connect the network cable.
- Login to the phone’s web interface and navigate to Network -> WiFi page to configure the Wi-Fi parameters.
- Make the necessary changes and click on SaveSet button
- Power down the phone and bring it to the customer site.
- Power up the phone (do not connect network cable) and it will connect to the customer’s Wi-Fi network as configured.
1.3 USING PHONE INTERFACE
- Power up the phone using the power adapter only (do not connect network cable).
- Double press the HOLD key to access the Phone menu.
- From the Main menu, navigate to the Wi-Fi submenu.
- Set the Mode to Provision and press the Enter soft key. (When Mode is set to Provision, you can also configure the settings from the phone’s web interface.)
- Toggle Wi-Fi to On.
- Fill in all the required information and press the Save soft key.
- Exit the phone menu.

2. MANUAL mode
In Manual mode, the phone can store up to 10 previously connected network SSID.
- Power up the phone using the power adapter (do not connect network cable).
- Double press the HOLD key to access the Phone menu.
- From the Main menu, navigate to the Wi-Fi submenu.
- Set the Mode to Manual and press the Enter soft key.
- Toggle Wi-Fi to On.
- Navigate to Available Network(s) and press the Scan soft key.
- Navigate to the desired network and press the Connect soft key.
- You will be prompted to enter the password.
3. Shortcut to toggle Wi-Fi On/Off
To toggle WiFi On or Off without having to enter the phone menu, press and hold the TRANSFER button until you see the Wi-Fi icon appear / disappear at the top of the LCD screen.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth can only be activated and paired from the phone interface.
The 5010W phone supports a wide range of bluetooth headsets that are compatible with Bluetooth specification V4.0 and backwards compatible with 1.1, 1.2, 2.0 and 3.0.
Brands that are tested to be compatible with our 5010W phone are:
- Jabra-storm
- Plantronics-Voyager Legend
- Poly Voyager 4300 UC Series (updated to the latest firmware)
- Nokia
- Sennheiser
- Xiaomi
- Huawei Honor
- JBL Live Bluetooth Headphones
The Infinity 5030 adapter allows Infinity phones to connect to third party headset bases, many of which use DECT communication to the headset rather than just Bluetooth. Depending on your needs, this may be a preferable choice as DECT protocol typically provides better voice quality and much longer wireless talk range.
Activate
To activate bluetooth:
- From the Phone Menu, select Bluetooth submenu
- Change Bluetooth setting to On, then press the Save softkey.
- The bluetooth icon will be displayed on the top bar of the LCD screen.

Scan
To pair a headset:
- From the bluetooth headset, initiate pairing mode. (Refer to the user guide of the headset.)
- From the 5010W phone menu, Bluetooth submenu, press the Scan softkey.
- The phone starts searching for bluetooth devices within the working range of 32 feet.
- All detected bluetooth devices will be displayed.
- Select the desired device and press the Connect softkey.
Paired Devices
To view a list of current or previously paired devices, from the Bluetooth submenu, select Paired Bluetooth Device.
All previously paired devices will be listed. The active paired device will have a checkmark beside.
You can choose to Delete the selected device or Delete all of the listed devices.
With the Bluetooth headset paired, you can do the following:
- Press the Volume key (+) on the Bluetooth headset to increase the volume.
- Press the Volume key (-) on the Bluetooth headset to decrease the volume.
- Press the multifunction key on the Bluetooth headset to answer or end a call.
Device Information
To view the phone’s bluetooth device information or to change the device name, from the Bluetooth submenu, select Edit Device Information.
