MG – Supported Features

MGC Redundancy

In a UCX system with a primary and alternate call server the MGC can be configured for redundancy, see MG – Redundancy Configuration. When configured for redundancy the MGC will register to the primary UCX . If the MGC loses contact with the primary it will reboot and register to the alternate server. When the MGC makes contact with the primary server again it will reboot and register to the primary. Calls are not preserved when switching from the primary to the alternate and vice versa.
