NOTE
The upgrade will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.. Access to the Configuration GUI will be interrupted and you will have to login again.
Manual Update
- Connect to the Gateway Configuration GUI.
- Navigate to the Maintenance / Firmware Upgrade page.
Method #1: Using Local File
- In the Keep System Configuration selection, keep the default value of Yes if you have existing configuration data that you wish to keep. Select No if you wish to delete the existing configuration and re-program the system.
- In the Choose File selection, click on the Choose File button, and select the new firmware file you wish to upload.
- Once the system verifies the file type, the Upgrade button in the top right corner will turn green and become active.
- Click the Upgrade from File button to start the upload and installation process.
Method #2: Using Upgrade Server
- Connect to the Analog Gateway Configuration GUI.
- Navigate to the Maintenance / Firmware Upgrade page.
- In the Keep System Configuration selection, keep the default value of Yes if you have existing configuration data that you wish to keep. Select No if you wish to delete the existing configuration and re-program the system.
- In the Upgrade Server field, enter the complete URL address of the new firmware file.
For example: http://repo.uc-x.org/galaxy.fw/digital_e1t1_rev1.bin - Click the Upgrade from Server button to start the upload and installation process.
