Wan Settings

Any changes made on a tab must be saved using the Save button prior to changing tabs or to a different menu page.
The card supports three options for Network Type
- DHCP (Default)
- Static
- PPPoE
DHCP Address
- Type: DHCP (default), Static, or, PPPoE. (This is typically changed to Static after initial configuration.)
- IP Address: When set to DHCP, the IP Address of the card cannot be configured.
- Subnet Mask: When set to DHCP, the Subnet Mask of the card cannot be configured.
- Default Gateway: When set to DHCP, the Default Gateway of the card cannot be configured.
- Primary DNS: The Primary DNS of the card is set to 8.8.8.8 or can be configured.
- Secondary DNS: The Secondary DNS of the card is set to 8.8.4.4 or can be configured.
- Manage Access: Controls the ability to manage the card from either of the WAN or MGT IP Address interfaces (default) or just from the MGT interface. The MGT interface must be configured before it can be used – see below).
Static IP Address
- Type: DHCP (default), Static, or, PPPoE. (This is typically changed to Static after initial configuration.)

Static Routing
This page contains settings for configuring static routes for use in special applications. Typically this page will remain blank.
Firewall
This page contains settings for configuring the Firewal Rules for use in special applications. Typically this page will remain blank.
IP Alias
This page contains settings for configuring IP Alias addresses for use in special applications. Typically this page will remain blank.
VPN Settings
This page contains settings for configuring the analog card for connecting over a VPN in special applications. Typically this page will remain blank, but can be used to connect to the E-MetroTel Support VPN for accessing the card remotely when no Galaxy Appliance or Virtualized UCX server is available.
