FERPA – Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act

The UCX Server provides security and privacy controls that support a school district’s FERPA compliance requirements. These include authenticated and role-based administrative access, encryption of InfinityOne messages and shared files at rest, authenticated administrator access to system logs, and controlled support access using pre-assigned, revocable access keys.

Customer administrators control support access and can block access by default and grant it when required. Data retention and deletion are also customer-controlled and can be configured according to the district’s applicable compliance and information-retention requirements.

The UCX Server and its associated user applications and Infinity 7000 Series endpoints provide a range of accessibility features, including visual and audible call indications, adjustable audio levels, speakerphone operation, and headset support, as applicable to the application or endpoint.
