Basic – Adding IAX2 Extension

To configure an extension for a IAX2 device, perform the following steps:

  1. From the PBX tab, select PBX Configuration
  2. From the left side column, select Extensions
  3. In the drop-down list box, select the device type Generic IAX2 Device and press the Submit button

  1. On the Add IAX2 Extension page, enter the extension number in the User Extension field
  2. Fill in all extension specific parameters. You should configure at least the following fields:
    • Display Name (name of the extension/user)
    • Secret (password to be used for registation of the IAX2 device)
  3. Press the Submit button to create the IAX2 extension.
