Fax Settings

This page allows you to configure various Fax Options, which are used while sending fax using the Dial System FAX feature.

To access the page, perform the following steps:

  1. From the PBX tab, select PBX Configuration
  2. From the left side column, select Fax Settings

Field
Description
Default Fax headerHeader information that is passed to the remote side of the fax transmission and is printed on top of every page.
Default Local Station IdentifierThe outgoing Fax Machine Identifier. This is usually your fax number.
Outgoing Email addressEmail address that faxes appear to come from if ‘system default’ has been chosen as the default fax extension.
Email addressEmail address that faxes are sent to when using the Dial System Fax feature code.
Error Correction ModeThis option is used to specify whether to use ECM mode or not
Maximum transfer rateMaximum transfer rate used during fax rate negotiation.
Minimum transfer rateMinimum transfer rate used during fax rate negotiation.
Always Allow Legacy ModeKeep the default value of No.
