Usage
System Speed Dial
Using Phonebook Entries as a Calling Party Name Lookup table
Note that you can enter the Name and Number with no Speed Dial Code and the option to automatically generate a code is unselected. When a incoming call arrives with only a Caller Party Number and no associated Calling Party Name, the UCX will attempt to find the incoming Number in the Phonebook and then use the corresponding Name as the Calling Party Name for the remainder of that call.
Dial-By-Name Directory
The dial-by-name feature also uses the Phonebook to associate name to number.
This feature can be enabled/disabled in the Feature Codes page, under the Phonebook Directory section.
The user dials *411, then follows the voice prompts to dial by name.
