Updating the firmware in IAD-based Analog Gateway cards

It is a simple process to perform firmware updates as a factory reset is no longer required.

To update the IAD firmware

1. Connect to the Analog Gateway Configuration GUI.
2. In the System Menu, navigate to the Maintenance / Firmware Update sub menu.
   
3. In the Keep System Configuration selection, keep the default value of Yes if you have existing configuration data that you wish to keep. Select No if you wish to delete the existing configuration and re-program the system.
4. In the Choose File selection, click on the Choose File button, and select the new firmware file you wish to upload (with a .bin suffix).
5. Once the system verifies the file type, the  Upgrade button in the top right corner will turn green and become active.
6. Click the Upgrade button to start the upload and installation process.

The upgrade will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete, at which time dial tone will be re-applied to any connected analog handsets.
