To Start Packet Capture, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the UCx Web-based Configuration Utility
  2. From the Support tab, select Packet Capture
  3. Choose the network interface where the packet capture will be started from the pull-down list and click the Select Interface button
  4. If you want the capture to stop automatically after a set time, select the desired time from the pull-down list and click the Set Time Limit button

The option to select interface is available only when the UCX system has more than one network interface available (e.g. eth0, eth1). If the system has only one interface available (e.g. eth0), the default interface is set to eth0.

To Delete Packet Capture File(s), perform the following steps:

  1. Select the files to be deleted and click the Delete button
  2. If you have multiple files, you can delete all the files using the Delete All button

To Download a Packet Capture File to the local machine, click on the file name and that will initiate download of the compressed capture file (.ZIP) to the local machine.
