System Speed Dial
The UCX system phone numbers to be pre-programmed to make it convenient for users to dial frequently used numbers (a.k.a. speed dial codes). These numbers can be programmed by the system administrator for all users (System Speed Dial) or can be programmed by each end user (User Speed Dial Override).System Speed Dial
The system administrator can program system wide speed dial locations. These system speed dial codes will be available to all users.User Speed Dial Override
If a user attempts to program a speed dial location that is already in use by the system, the user will be notified that the speed dial location is already in use. The user can choose to override the system’s number with the user’s own number for this location. All other users will not be affected, they will continue to have access to the speed dial code and number programmed by the system administrator. If the user wants to revert back to the system speed dial number, simply delete the user’s speed dial entry.Speed Dial Location Format
The UCX Speed Dial location format can be in the form of single digits (x), double digits (xx), or triple digits (xxx). The entire system must use a common location format, either single, double, or triple, whether they are programmed as System Speed Dial or User Speed Dial Override. If double or triple digit format is used, then the leading zeros must be included in the dial string for the locations 01 through 09 for double digit formats and 001 through 099 for triple digit formats. To make a call using Speed Dial
