Activate / Deactivate Pause

Queue agents can temporarily change their status to “Not Ready” and pause receiving calls from the queue.

To Activate pause

Phone Type Steps Notes
All phones 1. Dial *46 OR *46 + QUEUE number
2. The system will announce that pause has been activated.		 For example, to activate pause for queue number 600, dial *46600.
Dial *46 to activate pause for all queues.
E-MetroTel XStim or InfinintyOne or Nortel phones with programmable Not Ready toggle key 1. Press the programmed Not Ready key.
2. The display will show “Agent not ready”.		 There is no need to specify the queue number. Pause is activated for all queues in which the extension is configured as a dynamic member.
E-MetroTel XStim or InfinintyOne or Nortel phones with Feature key 1. Press the Feature key followed by the feature code 902.
2. The display will show “Agent not ready”.		 There is no need to specify the queue number. Pause is activated for all queues in which the extension is configured as a dynamic member.
SIP phones

1. Program BLF key *46*EXTENSION
2. Press the BLF key to activate pause and the key will provide visual indication.

 For example, *46*222 where 222 is the extension number.
