InfinityOne – Navigation

Browser Interface

Install InfinityOne as an App

  1. Login to InfinityOne using the Chrome browser
  2. Click on the Chrome menu icon (3 dots on the top right of the browser)
  3. Move the mouse down to Cast, save and share, then select Install page as app…
  4. You will be prompted to add the app to Taskbar. Select Yes and a shortcut to InfinityOne will be created.  You can now use this shortcut on the taskbar or desktop to launch InfinityOne as an independent browser app.

Navigation Panel

The navigation panel is located on the left-hand side, where the various conversations are listed and grouped according to their types.
The 3 basic groups include:

  • FAVORITES
  • CHANNELS
  • DIRECT MESSAGES

Other types will be listed if enabled by the administrator.

Search and Add Channel

Above the navigation panel, there is a Search box where you can start typing the name of the channel to narrow down the list.

Beside the search box, clicking on the PLUS sign  will bring up a dialog box for adding a new channel.

Account Information

At the very top of the navigation panel, clicking in the box where your Avatar and Username is displayed will bring up another dialog box where you can perform the following functions.

Status MessageAdd/Change/Delete custom status messages
Chat StatusManually set your chat status
Phone StatusManually set your phone status
AdministrationAccess Administrative functions
(only for accounts with administrative access)
My AccountAccess your account preferences and settings
Log out 

Icon Menu

The icon menu is located on the right-hand side and appears when you select a channel.
The menu provides access to the following functions:

  • Information
  • Search Messages
  • Members List / User Info
  • Notifications
  • Uploaded File List
  • Mentions
  • Starred Messages
  • Pinned Messages
  • Device Settings
  • Video
  • Softphone
  • Client Settings (Visible only when Softphone is selected)

Mobile Interface

Main Screen

To access information related to the application and to log out.
The name of the active server is shown.
Press on the name to change or add a new server.
To create a new channel.
To search for a specific channel.
Access the directory to search for Users or Channels
Sort by …To change the sort order.
To mark the channel as favorite.
To hide the channel from being listed on the main screen but remain a member of the channel.
To leave the channel, i.e. not be a member of the channel.
To access your voicemail box.
To access the softphone.
To access the call log.
