Infinity 3065 – Sending Faxes
Infinity 3065 allows users to send and manage Virtual Faxes directly from the desktop or mobile client. This guide explains how to send faxes, review fax transmission history, and delete fax records using Infinity 3065. This functionality is available in the latest releases of Infinity 3065 for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. While screen layouts may vary slightly between platforms, the fax workflow is consistent. This guide focuses on sending and managing fax transmissions. Receiving faxes is not covered in this document.

Requirements

Before sending faxes using Infinity 3065, your system administrator must configure one or more Virtual Faxes on the UCX system and assign access permissions to your user account. You must have access to at least one configured fax Source before you can send faxes. This functionality is supported in the latest releases of Infinity 3065 for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. While screen layouts may vary slightly between platforms, the fax workflow remains consistent.

Viewing Fax Status and History

Infinity 3065 allows you to review previously submitted fax transmissions and their status.

To view fax history:

  1. Open the Fax section in Infinity 3065.
  2. Review the list of fax transmissions.
  3. Select a fax entry to view additional details.

Fax history provides visibility into the status of current and previously submitted fax transmissions.

Common statuses may include:

  • Sending – The fax is currently being processed by the UCX system.
  • Sent – The fax was successfully transmitted.
  • Failed – The fax transmission was unsuccessful. If retry attempts are exhausted, the fax must be manually resent.

Canceling Faxes

You may cancel unsent fax entries through your fax history page. Canceling an Active fax will stop any further attempts to send the fax from your system.

To delete a fax record:

  1. Open the Fax section.
  2. Locate the fax entry you want to remove.
  3. Click and hold the entry.
  4. Confirm the cancelation by clicking Cancel.

Confirm the Cancel request

The screen will provide an indication of success.

Fax Retry and Failed Deliveries

If a fax transmission is unsuccessful, the UCX system will automatically retry delivery based on the configured retry policy.

If the maximum retry attempts are reached, the fax status will be marked as Failed and the fax must be manually resent.

You can review failed transmissions in fax history and resend the fax if required.
