The Video Recordings page allows you to view the list of recordings that have been stored on the server. From here you can download or delete the recordings as desired.
This page will list any completed recordings that are currently stored on the IVS system. The list will include a link to the file (in mp4 format), the room name that the recording was initiated from, the date it was recorded, and the size of the file. Note that the Recording Name include all this information so it can be referenced after it is downloaded as well.
Viewing and Downloading Recordings
- Click on the link associated with the recording you wish to review or download.
- A dialog box will prompt you to select the folder you wish to store the file.
- Once it has downloaded you may use any mp4-capable application to view the file.
Deleting Recordings
- You may select one or more recordings using the check box on the left hand side of the page
- Once you have selected the recordings you wish to delete, click the X Delete button.
- You will be prompted to confirm that you wish to delete the file(s).
Note, if you intend to record large numbers of conferences, then you may wish to ensure that your Virtual Machine is equipped with sufficient storage resources. Also note that you may wish to use the Infinity Video Server Automated Cleanup capability to delete aged recording files.
