There are two ways to perform a proper shutdown or restart of the Infinity Video Server:
- If you have physical access to the system, you can use the Power button on the system to initiate the shutdown of a running system or startup of a powered down system
- You can use the Web-based Configuration Utility to shut down or to restart the system
IMPORTANT
When you initiate shutdown or restart of your Infinity Video Server, active video conferences and recordings are dropped without any warning! Please make sure that there are no active conferences when performing these procedures.
To turn off or restart your system:
- From the System tab, select System Tools
- From the left-hand menu select Shutdown
- Select the desired action (Halt to stop the system or Reboot to restart the system) and press the Proceed button to initiate the action
- Wait for the system to power down or to restart
