InfinityOne Video Conference feature provides a video connection between multiple parties and supports screen sharing for instant real-time collaboration.
Video Conference feature does not require any additional licensing and is included with InfinityOne if using E-MetroTel’s centralized shared video server.
Customers can also purchase their own E-MetroTel video server. See IVS – Server Requirements for details.
Enabling Video Conference
Support for video conferencing is enabled/disabled on a system wide basis as follows:
- Login to Infinity Web Client using any account that has Administration privileges.
- Under Administration select Video Conference

- Set the Infinity Video Conferencing Enabled value to True to activate (default) or False to disable.
- If you are setting up your own E-MetroTel video server, enter the domain of that server in the Domain field including the port number 8443. For example: emtvideo.emetrotel.com:8443
- The Room Prefix is a string that will show up in the URL used to connect to the video conferencing server.
- For security considerations, set the SSL value to True
- Set the Enable in Channels to True if you wish to be able to launch video sessions from within channels in addition to direct messages or group messages.
- Leave the Chrome Extension setting as is.
