InfinityOne 6.0 – Presence and Click-to-Call

Overview

Presence

The Presence feature allows users to see each others Chat Status using a coloured circle dot and the Phone Status is shown using a coloured phone icon. The same color scheme is used:

  • Online – Green
  • Away – Yellow
  • Busy – Red

The icons are merged into one when showing the statuses together status-icons.png.

 
Click-to-Call

The Click-to-Call feature allows users to call each other with a simple click on the status icon.

USEFUL TIP

If you Hotdesk your softphone to another extension, that extension is automatically configured for Presence and Click to Call. When you un-register the Hotdesked extension, the extension will be removed from the Presence and Click to Call.

Click-to-Call

  1. When you click on the Phone Status icon associated with another user, InfinityOne will open a window confirming that you wish to call that user.
  2. If that account has more than one extension associated with it, you may select the desired extension from a drop-down list.
  3. You may also select the extension that you wish to dial from (if you have more than one configured in your Phone settings).
  4. The call will be set up automatically when you click Ok, or you may Cancel.

Chat channel

If a user does not have a Phone Status icon, then clicking the status icon will open the direct Chat channel with that user.

Clicking on the Avatar will also open up the chat channel with that user.
