InfinityOne 6.0 – Notifications

Overview

You can customize your notifications, including things like whether or not they are displayed, the length of time they are displayed, what triggers a notification, and whether to include usernames or avatars.

Note that your Administrator must activate the capabilitiy to recieve email notifications before the email settings are visible in the client. You are required to have a verified email address in order to receive email notifications.  You will normally have been requested to verify your email as part of the InfinityOne invitation process, although your administrator may have verified your email prior to sending you your invitation.

Some notification settings are performed at the account level, and each channel can have distinct settings.

Account Level Settings

Go to the top right of the page and click on the box where your Avatar is displayed.  From the drop-down box, click on My Account. Select Preferences from the left navigation panel.

Channel Level Settings

For Channel Level notifications, the options differ slightly between the browser interface and the mobile client interface.

Browser Interface

Open the specific Chat/Channel/Group, click on the 3 dots icon settings_3dots_icon.png and select Notifications Preferences.

Deskop

For desktop notifications, you can configure visual Alerts and its Duration, Audio alerts and the Sound played.

Mobile and Email

For mobile and email there is only visual alerts.

Mobile Interface

When viewing a channel, group, or chat message:

  1. Click on the channel name at the top to open the Channel Details screen.
  2. From there, select Notifications.
  3. From the list, select any of the options you wish to customize.
